October is breast cancer awareness month, but for me, this means PINK month! And I've especially fallen in love with this special edition pink styler. Actually, I always fall in love with GHD's pink editions, but seriously, this is the best one yet! I absolutely loooove the colour! So much better than last year's dark pink one!
Too bad I already have a GHD styler, otherwise I would SO buy this one! Maybe I should just buy it anyways... I am very tempted!

Barbara Bui boots from Kassandra, DKK 6800,-
Well, since YOU decided to buy the Jimmy Choo motorcycle boots (which I hate you for by the way), I've decided to get these instead. I've actually been thinking about them for a couple of weeks now, but the prize forced me to forget about them. Since I really liked the Jimmy Choos too, I thought it would be wiser to get those, since they were a bit cheaper. But now that YOU are getting them, it would be stupid if I got them too. SO, after A LOT of thinking (and dreaming) and googling - trying to find out if they were available on the internet, I have finally decided to get these Barbara Buis. The fact that they weren't available online, just made me want them more, because that means that only a few people owns them. I went into Kassandra today, hoping that they still had my size, which they (almost) did. I wound up getting a 37½ instead of a 37. So I paid a DKK 3000,- deposit, and I can't wait to bring these babies home!

Last year I was on the hunt for some nice clean and slick black leather biker boots. I saw the Jimmy Choo Biker Boots as they were instantly sold out at Net-a-porter. I end up getting getting a pair from Maison Martin Margiela, without any buckles. I love them. But after these boots have returned for another season, I kind of feel like I need them too. Last year I definitely did not want anything with buckles, because the boots I came across, just looked too bulky and chunky. However I am digging the buckles on the Jimmy Choo, nice and subtle. What really makes these standout from any other biker boots is the incredible soft rabbit fur linning. Forget the UGGs, I could easily wear these with bear feet.
So I got the sales assistant from Norstrom to snap a couple of photos...
Of all the stores and webshops I have browsed, I only came across another decent pair of boots, and these have also become favourte classics, Miu Miu Biker Boots:
And for comparison...
UPDATE: by Stylehunter Annie, 09.09.09
Oh my gosh, I love them both! I have actually been on the watch for the Jimmy Choos for a long time, but I couldn't decide whether to buy them or not. And I've seen similar Miu Miu boots, but with patchwork, and that just wasn't working for me! But these Miu Miu look amazing! But they do look kinda bulky though, next to the Choos. Are they the same size, cuz they look bigger?
But you've got to decide which ones you want, cuz it would be stupid if we end up buying the same boots! But realistically the Miu Miu boots are probably more in my price range at around $800 compared to the $1050 for the Jimmy Choos. Gosh, I just know that no matter which pair I get, I will be dreaming about the other one too. AND I'll also be dreaming about some Barbara Bui boots I spotted in Kassandra. I'll try to go in there tomorrow and get a picture of them.

over, and I am officially on holiday! Studying for exams has prevented me from
shopping and sharing my latest obsessions on the blog, but luckily, those days
The Coco Duffel studded leather bag, Photo Courtesy of Mick Margo
The Coco Duffel Bag from Alexander Wang Fall 2009 Collection has been on my
mind ever since the first pictures of the bag surfaced on the Internet earlier
this year. The bag instantly created much buzz thanks to Mary-Kate Olsen who
was the first to flash this arm candy, and has been spotted with the bag on
several different occasions. The boxy shape and size is simply perfect for an
all-round handbag and the black leather looks delicious and soft. However it is
the gold studded bottom that makes the bag eye-poppingly badass and totally to-die-for. It is
unusual and unexpected and instantly reveals the bag’s “identity”, yet it is
not too flashy or comes off tacky like logo bags.

the era of the “It bag” is over, it is safe to say that the Coco’s popularity
will only grow among fashionistas and bloggers as the bag will hit the shelves
in mid-July. I usually find the whole “it-phenomenon” very off-putting; it seems as though everybody is going nuts about the models' and celebs' favourite designer, Alexander Wang. I must admit that I do find his work very irresistible and lustworthy, and I have been keeping an eye on him since I first came across his name and early collections through Style.com a few years ago. Right now it seems as though he can do no wrong, and his fan base is growing strong. I
can’t hide the fact that this bag will most likely be selling out fast and seen
on many, MANY girls. Despite this, I feel like I cannot allow this baby to pass by,
I simply MUST HAVE IT!
Texas, Copenhagen will get three Coco bags in late July, and I have already put
my name on the list for one. Otherwise the bag is available for pre-order at
and Shopbop.com expects to have the bag in different colors beginning in late

Skirt from topshop, £25,00. Available at topshop.com
I just spotted this skirt at Topshop's website. Judging from the picture, I think it looks pretty cool with the "leather look". But it could probably easily look cheap, if it isn't the right material, or the fit isn't right. So I should probably wait for them to get it in stores, and try it on there.
What do you think? And by the way, didn't you have some trouble with Topshop's online store? I guess that's the more reason for me not to buy it online.
UPDATE by Stylehunter Annie, February 12th 2009
Okay, so I went by Topshop (Stroeget) today, and found the skirt! Thank god I didn't order it online, because I would probably have looked like a russian hooker or something. The material was SO poor! I didn't try it on though, because my size wasn't there. Actually there were only large sizes left (UK 12 and 14), so I guess that some people must have liked it.

So.. since I got your invite for the masquerade I've been obsessing about finding the perfect mask! Of course I thought about the episode of Gossip Girl where they went to the masquerade ("The Handmaiden's Tale", episode 6, season 1), and let's just say that I got very inspired!!
I really love all the masks on the picture, but especially Serena's. I don't know why, but there's just something about that "filligree" thingy I like. So I did a little googling, and look what I found!
This mask looks almost exactly like the one Serena is wearing. Unfortunately I found it at an american site, $154 at amasquerade.com.
Fortunately I also found a UK based website called maquerademagic, with a lot of amazing masks too. The reason why I prefer shopping from EU-based websites, is so that i don't have to pay extra taxes or fees or whatever it is.
From top left to right: 1: "Golden Beauty" mask; £17,99. 2: "Celeste" mask; £243,70. 3: "Farfalla" mask; £97,86. 4: "wedding days" mask; £19,56.
As you can see the price range is pretty variable. Hmm.. Maybe I should try to make one myself (no. 1 and 4 doesn't look too hard). But you should definitely check the website out, because they have a very wide selection!

My gosh.. I just stumbled across these gladiator sandals from Balenciaga at matchesfashion. Aren't they just fabulous?! I just love the colour.. I can just imagine wearing them this summer, showing off my (hopyfully tanned) legs! What do you think?
They cost £500 at matchesfashion.com. I know it's kinda pricey, but they are absolutely gorgeous!
They come with heels in black too for £595 also at matchesfasion. But you know that I'm a sucker for flats!
UPDATE Monday, January 26, 2009
Lynn: LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I actually saw the black heels in Holly Golightly, and they are truely fierce. However, as in the case with my Louboutins you would need a vehicle (i.e. LIMO) to carry you from A to B. There is no way for you to strut around in those heels in the streets of Copenhagen.

Okay, let's face it. I am very very safe when it comes to shoes, and if you look at my shoe collection, you're gonna think it's pretty damn boring. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love my ballet flats and pumps, but I think I'm ready for something more bold! So this season I would really love some more eye popping shoes (for everyday-wear), to dress up my wardrobe. Baby steps though! And I think these wedges would be perfect!
I've gotta admit that I haven't been too crazy about wedges though, and it has really taken me some time to get more used to it. And actually these shoes weren't even love at first sight. I know that stylists and all have been crazy about these for a long time, and at first I didn't even pay too much attention to them, except for loving the light-beige suede colour. BUT THEN, today some of my classes were cancelled, so I decided to treat myself to a little "window-shopping" (yayy.. sounds fun huh?), to see if the stores had packed out any of the spring items (I'm getting pretty sick of all the sale items, I mean, all the good stuff is gone anyways!).
But back to the story, I dropped by Kassandra, and to my delight I saw these shoes. So I thought, why not try them out? So I did, and it was the best thing I had ever done! My gosh, it felt like they had been specially made for me! They were so comfortable, that if I closed my eyes, I would think that I was wearing flats! So it might not have been love at first sight, but it was definitely love at first wear!
I was disappointed about one thing though, and that was the height of the heels. The ones I tried were only 5 cm high, and I could just picture how nice they would look with a higher heel. So i started looking at some online stores (or actually Lynn did the digging, and she told me), and found out that they also came in 10 cm heels!! How perfect is that?!
But unfortunately I could only find the 10 cm heels in green suede and black leather. The green suedes are definitely not me, but the black leather are actually pretty cool! But I think that they are a bit too rough for me (as I said: baby steps). So I'm taking that as a sign for me to go for the light beige with 5 cm heels (cuz lord knows if I'm even able to wear the 10 cm's for an entire day, so it must be fate!). They will still be fabulous with dresses, skirts and shorts. They even look great with tights underneath, so you don't have to wait till summer to wear them!
The black leather wedges are from brownsfashion, £515
The green suede wedges are from net-a-porter, €595
The beige suede wedges are from net-a-porter, €595, and are also available at Kassandra, DKK4800.
And actually net-a-porter offers free shipping until January 25th, when you enter "FREESHIP09" into the promotional box at checkout. So you do the math: €595=DKK4500. Which means you can save DKK300, when buying from net-a-porter!
